Dear Russ and Jim,
Thank you for the fantastic day biking through eastern Long Island. My husband and I enjoyed the scenic views, the gourmet picnic lunch (complete with local fruits and salads), the great group of fellow riders and of course our friendly and knowledgeable tour group leaders.
We appreciated the comfort of knowing that at any point we could be picked up by the support van. Although I grew up on Long Island, I have never seen the quaint and beautiful sights of the North Fork.

Having just returned from a professionally led bike adventure following the Tour de France, my expectations for a day trip exploring the North Fork of Long Island with Winding Road Tours were justifiably modest. Russ and Jim exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds, providing a beautifully planned tour of the coastline, wetlands, rolling hills and epic neighborhoods of the North Fork. The bagels on the drive to Long Island from Manhattan were a welcome touch, the van support was relentless and flawless, the picnic lunch was terrific (and in a beautiful spot), and the chosen wineries were lovely and obviously expecting us. Russ and Jim were gracious, in good humor, and provided exceptional service throughout the trip. A terrific ride, a tremendous day, and a bargain to boot!

Dear Russ and Jim,
My sister and I took our dad on the winery tour as a present. Although he hadn't been on a bike in twenty years, Winding Road Tours made the experience a delightful one, pampering all of us the entire way.
From the breakfast in the van, energy bars for the road, the gourmet lunch (with flowers on the table!), and the wine and cheese at the end, you knew exactly what we needed. Our dad was so proud of his bike riding and truly loved the wine tasting at the vineyards. The wine he brought back will definitely carry the memories from our beautiful day.

Thanks once again for a truly spectacular afternoon of biking and wine tasting in the North Fork. Bruce and I very much enjoyed our time with you. You did a great job in a number of areas, including sag/van support, plenty of water and munchies during the ride, an interesting route, good cue sheets, and a very nice lunch.
I was also impressed that the price of the tour included the tasting fees at the wineries. And the cheese platter at the end was a nice touch! I honestly can't think of one thing I would change or recommend, other than I wish there were organizations like yours wherever we travel.
Thanks again for a wonderful introduction to the North Fork and a great day of biking! I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in exploring the area by bike and would be happy to act as a reference for prospective customers.
